Logistics Manager

Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Logistics Manager to oversee all logistical operations for our events. The Logistics Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of people, equipment, and materials to and from event sites. They will work closely with other departments, including production, marketing, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of events.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate the transportation of people, equipment, and materials to and from event sites, including negotiating contracts with transportation providers and managing schedules.
- Manage the warehouse and inventory, ensuring all equipment and materials are organized and accounted for.
- Work with the production team to create schedules and timelines for event setup and teardown, and ensure all equipment and materials are in the right place at the right time.
- Manage a team of logistics coordinators, providing direction and support as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements for transportation and logistics.
- Continuously evaluate and improve logistics processes to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective operations.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and solve problems quickly and effectively.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and logistics software systems.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as required by event schedules.
- Experience managing teams and a proven ability to lead and motivate people.
